Luxe beauty and fashion captured the imagination at the recent 2022/2023 Métiers d’art CHANEL – DAKAR. Evoking a 1970s spirit, the exquisite collection spanned flared trousers styled with tunic tops, column knit dresses, high waist trousers, oversized knits with platform shoes, and a profusion of deep warm colours, with intricately worked tweeds and geometric embroideries by the Maisons D’Art of CHANEL.
The choice of Dakar to present the 2022/23 Métiers d’art CHANEL – DAKAR collection is the result of meetings over the past three years between Virginie Viard and choreographers, directors, musicians, and writers, all together with friends of the House, who are the plural inspiration behind this journey.
