Celine Wallace is an Ayurvedic Practitioner, Yoga Therapist, and the founder of Sattva Soul Supplements, an organic Ayurvedic supplement brand for stress, anxiety, sleep, and Sattva Soul Retreats, a luxury women’s Yoga, Ayurvedic and Transformational retreat company.

After moving to Hollywood at a young age and working there for over a decade, Celine reached burnout. When Western medicine failed to provide answers for healing her nervous system and adrenal fatigue, she went on a quest to heal herself, moving to Bali and then the Himalayas in India to study Yoga, Meditation, and Ayurveda.

Founder of Sattva Soul Retreats and Sattva Soul Supplements.

Her passion lies in helping women find the best version of themselves and their ‘Sattva,’ which means ‘Balance’ in Sanskrit, before they reach burnout and without having to travel halfway around the world to find answers.

As a part of our wellness series to celebrate the launch of the NEW Care Edition of The Beauty Book, we chatted to Celine about her own wellness routine.

How do you unwind after a busy day?

I always love to take a walk to decompress while listening to a podcast or introducing movement into my body to shake off any stagnant energy from the day.

If it’s too late to walk or do yoga, I usually make some homemade Ayurvedic ginger, lemon, and honey tea and journal to help me unwind and reflect on the wins and areas of improvement for the day.

What are some of your key self-care practices that ensure you keep your cup full?

I know it’s clichĂ©, but my morning routine is a non-negotiable for me. The mind-set that I cultivate at the beginning of the day is the vibration I carry and the lens I view throughout that day.

The first thing I do is sip some water, write morning pages, and dump whatever is on my mind onto the page or gratitude journal. Then I do Vedic Meditation for 10-20 minutes, followed by pulling an Oracle Card, asking my guides where I should focus my attention for the day, followed by a peppermint tea or coffee. I don’t look at social media or any technology for the first hour, which helps me feel grounded in my body. I’ve recently brought a rebounder tramp too, which I love jumping on for 10 minutes while listening to a podcast.

The last 18 months have felt like a rollercoaster for everyone, and for someone like me, who used to travel every month of the year between Bali and LA beforehand, I found it turned my world upside down.

I’ve definitely surrendered to the process, letting go of what I can’t control, not associating with negative people, being mindful of what I consume, and not watching the news or mainstream media. I’ve also rediscovered the security of routine and having the right tools to stay grounded within myself. Despite the world around me, I always had the mechanics to create a stable centre no matter what was happening. And sometimes, it felt like a chore, but in the most trying of times, I knew those daily habits were my saving grace to keep my mind-set anchored.

What advice would you like to have given to your younger self when it comes to health & wellness?

‘Yolo’ is the worst piece of advice you can ever live by!

Cultivate a life of health, wellness, abundance, and love, and that is what will come back to you tenfold. Throwing caution to the wind and fast thrills don’t create a sustainably good life, but slowing down and consciously creating and curating a great quality life by design is what will make you truly happy.

What is your favourite affirmation?

”Today, I am grateful to wake up and be alive, as the most healthy, abundant, and loving version of myself.” says Celine.
