The All-on-4™ technique was originally pioneered by Dr Palo Malo and has been shown to be a predictable and highly successful treatment for replacing dentures with fixed teeth. Dr. Danesh-Meyer, a specialist periodontist/implant surgeon, has been involved in dental implants for over 20 years, during which time he has placed thousands of implants. As such he could see the great potential in the All-on-4™ concept and the benefits it offered patients. 

The All-on-4™ concept is ideally suited to replace a full lower denture. For most patients with full upper and lower dentures, it is the lower denture that is most uncomfortable and difficult to eat with. The All-on-4™ treatment provides patients with a full fixed (non-removable) bridge with as few as 4 implants in the lower jaw. In many cases, the complete treatment can be completed in as little as 1 – 3 days. The All-on-4™ treatment can also be applied to the upper jaw in most cases, however, it is sometimes necessary to place 6 implants in the upper jaw in order to ensure good support and long term durability
