Welcome to This Just In, a monthly round up of the new and noteworthy products hitting the shelves.
As the ‘latest and greatest’ drop at dizzying daily rates, it can be hard to find the stand out among the latest lipsticks, liners, eyeshadows and the like. Although we are partial to our long-term favourites, heart rates spike with every new exciting release. Who knew you could fan-girl over a new lipstick?
Without further or do: This Just In.
“Supreme inspiration. Supreme obsession. Supreme addiction”Â
Pat McGrath and iconic skate and streetwear label Supreme have teamed up as part of the brand’s Fall/Winter 2020 collection. The collaboration features just one lipstick – in shade Supreme, of course, hyper-pigmented with a matte finish. And we can’t get enough of this packaging! The lipstick will be available exclusively on Supreme New York, and you can sign up for updates here.
Mecca’s new set of sticks feature a blush – in six shades, a contour – in two shades and a highlighting stick. The trio, part of in-house brand Mecca Max, are buttery and buildable – meaning you can go from ‘I woke up like this’ to out to dinner in a few extra swipes – perfect for all-day wear.Â
With mini bags in trend, there’s no longer space for a full makeup look to float around. With multi-tasking products, you don’t need to! Becca Cosmetic’s new Light GleamTM, available in six shades, is a dual-ended liquid eyeshadow to create multiple looks in one. Apply the long-wear primer and leave it at that, or pop the sparkling topper on for a multidimensional look.Â
OG beauty Youtuber Patrick Starr’s brand One/Size have launched their first-ever makeup products. The colour cosmetics line includes the Visionary Eyeshadow Palette; with matte and metallic eyeshadows to pack some serious pigment.Â
Estée Lauder has updated its famous ‘Little Brown Bottle’. Although technically skincare – this little baby is a powerhouse when mixed with your foundation (thank us later). The new formula has been updated to be more effective with new 72hr hydration and more antioxidants.Â
This is one foundation you won’t have to colour match – that’s right, you read that correctly! The new makeup-skincare hybrid has a transparent matte finish that smooths and blurs the appearance of imperfections while hydrating all day. Recovering the benefits of a foundation without the pigment to allow your own skin to shine through.Â
Excited to see Morphe finally get on board with liquid eyeshadow, the brand has released their Jelly Eye Shimmer. Now online and in-store at Mecca, the brands six shades are lightweight and buildable.Â
Now, we all know how much I love a multitasker, and this release is no different. To streamline makeup application, the F47 can contour, highlight and set, it’s the brush that does it all – just make sure to wash it of course! Increase your capability without having to shell out for a range of different brushes.
Release your inner pro artist with Anastasia Beverly Hills new Norvina Pro Pigment Palette Vol. 1. Featuring 25 bold high performance shades, ABH is reiterating – colour is the new cool. Although you wouldn’t consider their words priming & oil to form a pair, don’t be alarmed. Known for their multi-use products, the Lilah B Aglow Priming Oil is no different, a three-in-one serum, moisturiser and primer. Online-only at Mecca, the oil can be worn alone or under makeup for flawless application.Â
