The Healing Process
The healing process is the best part of this treatment as new healthy collagen is formed while your cells renew. After the treatment is done, you will notice evenly spaced micro-wounds of tiny dots on your skin. Immediately after your treatment, your skin will feel sensitive and hot. It is important to stay out of the sun and follow your treatment provider’s advice to protect your skin and speed up the healing process. After a week, you may see redness and slight swelling which is completely normal and only temporary.
When will I start to see results?
This treatment is no temporary fix; it delivers real, lasting results; the team at Caci recommends having 4-5 treatments every 4 or 5 weeks to ensure long-lasting results. As part of the Reformaskin membership, your Registered Nurse (that’s right a Nurse carries out this treatment) at Caci will also guide you through an at home skincare routine to assure that you get the best results from your treatments. Post treatment advice
- Follow the skincare advice from your treatment provider.
- Do not expose the treatment area to the sun. Wear a hat if you need to be outside! From 2 days after your treatment, it is important to wear SPF30+ daily.
- Do not exfoliate for 1 week after treatment.
- Do not take any anti-inflammatory medication for 48 hours post treatment.
- Use a skin healing gel 2-4 times a day to ensure your skin does not become too dry.
