As we battle the ongoing Corona Virus pandemic, wearing masks in public is vital. However, this doesn’t mean we need to sacrifice ruining our outfit for your average teal hospital mask we all have been reaching for every time we head out of the house. Luckily for all of us, fashion brands are continuing to make face masks fashionable and enjoyable to wear. From prints to sequins, we’ve gathered some of our favourite styles rocked by celebrities.
Keep It Simple
If you’re up for something simple to go with any outfit, the medical-grade and disposable face masks worn by Ariana Grande are from Evolvetogether. These masks have a water-resistant outer layer that blocks airborne contaminants, a melt-blown centre to fill out bacteria, and a moisture-absorbing inner layer making these face masks a lot more breathable. They also come in a variety colours like khaki, navy, and green.
For the Print Lovers
Next we have supermodel Irina Shayk wearing a statement zebra print that perfectly matches her handbag, obsessed! Irina got hers from Masc but they’re out of stock currently. We’ve found a similar print that you can purchase on Etsy for only $10, these are great for the environment as they are washable and reusable. These zebra print face masks are also handmade and come with a nose wire so you can adjust to your liking.
To go with any outfit
Black face masks can go with anything which is why it’s one of our favourites when it comes to matching outfits. Hailey Bieber is looking smoking in a Magda Butrym black dress, Bottega Veneta Zebra pouch and a simple black face mask where you can shop a similar one from Ovna Ovich for $35.00.
For the sequin lovers
How gorgeous does Sarah Jessica Parker look in her sequin face mask? Add some bling to your outfit with a similar style from Revolve for $21.20! These are great for days you feel like dressing up or when you want to add some dazzle to brighten up your day.
The Fashionista Face Mask
Style Icon Olivia Palermo knows exactly how to make a face mask chic with a scarf. As part of an Instagram challenge #WearADamnMask, Palermo posted a picture and a video tutorial on how she styles up her mask with designer cloth. She also adds that it is important to wear your usual face mask underneath the scarf to ensure you are well protected. We found a super cute geometric-print silk scarf from Versace that would most definitely give off a statement look.
