The Best Organic Beauty Brands to Try Right Now

by Esha

The world of organic makeup & skincare can be a confusing place. A ton of brand’s label themselves “non-toxic”, “clean beauty” and “vegan” but in reality, those terms aren’t regulated. I’m a clean beauty sceptic – but this is not to say everything you see on your favourite products false – it just means that we as consumers, need to do our own research when it comes to buying into organic brands.

With it being International Organic Day, it seemed fitting to round up the best organic beauty products we love – and I mean really love. They are all from trusted brands that work with third-party certification agencies, ensuring their ingredients are safe for you. Get ready for the glow.

The Beauty Chef Probiotic Skin Refiner, $75

You’ll know The Beauty Chef for their organic powders and supplements, but this exfoliator is liquid gold. A standout from her skincare line, its made from organic grains, seeds and plants that have – unsurprisingly – been fermented to nourish the skin. Paired with Carla Oates’ beauty powders you’ll be sure to glow.

Josh Rosebrook Hydrating Accelerator, $72

Cult favourite brand Josh Rosebrook brings the best of the best for multitaskers. A hydrator, toner and light moisturiser in one slick bottle bound to fit perfectly on your beauty shelf. Utilising some of the finest organic ingredients, this miraculous mist enhances the performance of other products – the perfect go-to for the clean beauty savvy.

Organic Riot Anti-Pigmentation Serum, $34.99

While it’s no surprise this skincare brand is organic, it might be surprising to find out that Organic Riot has ten certifications from cruelty-free to organic. The brand is more than endorsed to supply cult favourites that are effective yet organic. We recently reviewed three of OR’s hero products, and they are definitely still in rotation.

Ethique ‘Wonderbar’ Conditioner, $25

If the thought of using a bar on your hair seems crazy, you haven’t tried the range from organic beauty company Ethique. The plastic free creations are not only wonderful for the environment, but your head will thank you later. Another multi-tasker – and you know how much I love a multitasking product – the bar doubles as a shaving bar and an in-shower moisturiser.

The Organic Skin Co. Refillable 4-Pod Palette, $49

I’m a makeup hoarder – send Maire Kondo. Admittedly I’ve purchased a palette just for that one eyeshadow colour I’ve been scouring the internet for. But panic-buy no longer with a personalised palette by The Organic Skin Co. The four pod – pictured here – is my all-time favourite go-to size for touch-ups.

Endota Spa Vanilla & macadamia Body Drink, $55

The name really sums this beauty staple up, and your skin will thank you for it. A hydrating blend of organic oils; macadamia, avocado and coconut to mention a few will deliver ultimate hydration.Endota’s Body Drink even prolongs the effects of tanning – perfect as we move towards the summer months.
